A 23-year-old Wainfleet man has been arrested in connection to last December's recovery of more than $100,000 in stolen property from a Wainfleet barn. On Dec. 12, Ontario Provincial Police began an investigation into a dump truck reported stolen by a Dunnville construction company.

A byelection will be held in Jack Layton’s former riding on March 12, the prime minister’s office announced Sunday. The riding of Toronto-Danforth, which Layton claimed in 2004, has not been represented in the House of Commons since the former NDP leader died from cancer in August.
